1859 United States Copper Nickel Indian Head Cent Laurel Wreath Reverse Without Shield (1859 Only) Fine/Very Fine. We use ANA Standers to Grade our Coins Key Date. Full Liberty Shows on Head Band. First Year Issue. The only Indian Head Cent made of Copper-Nickel. Composition (.880 Copper .120 Nickel). Coins of 1859 and Early 1860 show a Pointed Bust. Very nice coin.
