Sportlots Seller Report card tracks a sellers overall performance on the site. The seller report card is updated nightly.
Inventory AccuracySportlots inventory accuracy is based on the last 12 months of performance. This is measured by taking the total number of cards filled divided by the total number of cards purchased over the past 12 months. So for example, if a seller filled 2,495 cards in the past year out of a total of 2,500 cards ordered, that seller's inventory accuracy would be 99.8%.
Sportlots measures the seller's speed as the average number of days it takes the seller to fill an order from the date that payment was made. Orders placed within the last 12 months are used in the measurement.
For PO Box orders we deduct 3 days from the calculation for each order in order to encourage bundling of more orders together into a single shipment to Sportlots so that postage rates can be further reduced. So for example if a seller waits 5 days to ship a PO Box order to Sportlots, only 2 days are calculated into the speed for that order.
Sportlots keeps track of the total feedback placed for the seller. This includes positive, neutral and negative feedback. Customers can view a summary of each sellers total feedback on the seller report card under the "Dealer Info" column and the "Positive Feedback" row. However, the positive feedback percentage shown on the report card is based on the total positive feedback divided by the total feedback left (not including Neutral feedback) only over the past 12 months.
Sportlots will not change the feedback left by buyers except on the following conditions:
Only sellers can view the Feedback comments provided by customers. Sportlots believes that the comments left by the customer should only be viewed by the seller so that they can use the feedback to improve their customer service. When others can view the comments, a lot of times the seller becomes more concerned about how others percieve the comments instead of using it for constructive feedback to improve their service. Sellers can view the most recent 100 feedback left by customers by going to "Sell/My Report Card" and clicking on the "Positive Feedback" link.
Each month, Sportlots will notify sellers who have a positive feedback percentage below 95%. Sellers that receive this notice will be required to increase this rating over time. As long as progress continues toward this goal each month, the seller's account will remain open. Otherwise if the percentage drops from one month to another that seller's account will be closed.
This is only in effect for sellers who have more than 20 feedbacks over the past 12 months. Neutral feedbacks will not be counted.
